You are a waiter one centimetre tall, and Tiny Diner is about to close for good. Boss Richard offers one last deal: feed the most demanding customers in town and the restaurant is saved. Each table is a giant woman with a big appetite, an empty plate and an order that comes as a riddle. Work out what she wants, run across the table, grab the right dish and throw it into her mouth — in the right order.

Riddles on the menu

“A sugary ring” is a donut, but on harder tables the clues get sneakier: orders change halfway through, two courses arrive at once, and on diet days the sweet-sounding answer is the trap. More than thirty dishes, from sushi and paella to brownies and fish and chips, each come with their own hints, and golden dishes refill patience and pay extra tips.

Nine giants, nine moods

Dramatic Isabella, cheerful Lucia, haughty Victoria, sweet-toothed Emily, insatiable Naomi, strict Mei, sniffly Nora, Jade and the ruthless food critic Madam Sylvia all eat differently. Moods shift during the meal, a finger may flick you away, glasses tip over, napkins fly and one sneeze can blow you off the table. At the Rival Table the cocky waiter Marco races you to the same customer: shove him, steal his dish or knock him dizzy with a well-aimed throw.
