Sending a takedown notice

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the subject "DMCA Notice" and include: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) the exact URL(s) of the material on the Site; (4) your name, address, phone number and email; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

What happens next

We review complete notices promptly, remove or disable access to the material where appropriate, and inform the person who made it available if possible.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We may restore the material after 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringers

Accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright will be closed.

False claims

Knowingly false notices or counter-notices may make the sender liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
